Pros and Cons
With 25 reviews on Amazon at the time of writing and 20 of them ‘five stars’, there doesn’t seem like the Surf One Robert August II Complete Longboard could do anything wrong. Those that do have criticisms have mentioned that the board is not completely stable when skating at high speeds and it also has a lack of suspension making bumps easy to feel on the roads (again this seems to be when skting at high speeds). It is also quite heavy so it’s not the best board to buy if you will have to carry it for any period of time.
However it is an ideal board for beginners and non serious longboarders. At $149 on Amazon it is more than affordable for a beginners board and many people who started off skating with the Surf One Robert August II Complete Longboard have gone on to purchase other boards from the range. The board ships fully assembled including surf one wheels, bones red bearings and Randal II 180 trucks. And let’s be honest, it really is an attractive board!
